so all last weekend evie was running around saying "unkie, unkie, unkie". i was at a loss for what it meant, then on sunday i realized that "unkie" sound really close to "aqui" which is spanish for "here".
oh, my brilliant little bilingual daughter, she picked up aqui from gladys. isn't that cute. isn't she smart.
i labored under this delusion for three whole days, then last night dan, claire and camille came for dinner. afterwards we pulled out some of the ice cream that i've made recently. the "unkie's" started full throttle. oh, she meant "ice cream" not "aqui". so much for that healthy diet i've been feeding her... at least it was all organic...
i've created an ice cream monster.
